INLIGHT glass tube solar collector is a kind of thermosiphon solar water heating device composed of glass vacuum tubes, non-pressurized manifold and supporting bracket. It works like a small tank non-pressurized solar water heater, cold water flows in to manifold then to every glass tubes, as water in the collector heats, it becomes lighter and rises naturally into the manifold above. So, when cold water flows down into glass tubes the hot water in manifold will flow out from the collector outlet. Since the collector is non-pressurized an air-vent device or pipe must be installed at top of collector loop, although that it is widely used in big solar water heating system because it has many advantages including:
